Pop up content in a modal window that you’ve created using the Modal Page template.

Overview

Modal is a somewhat hidden component in that in only lives in the “Action” section of various components’ link and button options.

When setting up a link by selecting “Modal” from the link action list you can specify a modal page URL that will pop up content that you create in a modal page template.  The anchor name specified will allow you to link to this modal from other parts of the page or other pages entirely.

Basic Authoring

Before creating a modal on your page, you must first create the content on a separate template. To do so, create a new child page in your directory using the “Inkwell - Modal Page” template.

The only components available in the modal frame are Embed, Entity, Forms, Tour, and Flexible Column Frame.
