Start new inheritance: See note above in “Basic Authoring”

  1. Text: The user-facing text for the link.
  2. Action: Select an action from the dropdown (link, scroll-to-component, modal, pricing).  See the actions list for more information.
  3. Tooltip: The tooltip appears when hovered over the actionable content.
  4. Reorder and/or delete navigation items using the controls next to each item.  Click the green + icon at the bottom of the list to add a new item.

NOTE: Links for items 1-4 are hard-coded and cannot be changed.

  1. About text: Customize the about text; default text is About.
  2. Cookie text: Customize the cookie policy text; default text is Cookie Policy.
  3. Privacy text: Customize the privacy policy text; default text is Privacy Policy.
  4. User agreement text: Customize the user agreement text; default text is User Agreement.
  5. Additional link: By default this section will be collapsed.  Click the arrow to expand and select the Add additional link checkbox to add a link that will appear to the right of the User Agreement text.
  6. Text: This will be the user-facing text.
  7. Action: Select an action from the dropdown (link, scroll-to-component, modal, pricing).  Refer to actions list for more information.
  8. Tooltip: The tooltip appears when hovered over the actionable content.

Social links in the footer point to Social pages, not Social sharing.
Note: LinkedIn and Slideshare social links are fixed in the first and second position of the list.

  1. LinkedIn Settings: specify a tooltip that will appear as the user hovers over the icon, and the URL the social link should point to.
  2. Slideshare Settings: specify a tooltip that will appear as the user hovers over the icon, and the URL the social link should point to.
  3. Other Settings:
    • Icon: select a social service from the dropdown.
    • Tooltip: specify a tooltip that will appear as the user hovers over the icon.
    • URL: specify a URL that the social icon should point to.
  4. Reorder and/or delete navigation items using the controls next to each item.  Click the green + icon at the bottom of the list to add a new item.

The expanded footer only appears on desktop and will not show on mobile/tablet.

  1. Enable footer expansion: Select this checkbox for the footer to expand/collapse.
  2. Expand link text: This is the user-facing text.  When this link is clicked the footer will expand.
  3. Expand link description: For accessibility, screen readers read aloud the expand link description.
  4. Collapse link text: This is the user-facing text.  When this link is clicked the footer will collapse.
  5. Collapse link description: For accessibility, screen readers read aloud the collapse link description.

By default the expanded footer will contain 4 columns.  Click the Inherited Column Frame to control inheritance and change the number of columns.  Note that when no column headlines are entered for any of the columns in the navigation drawer, the content below will shift up to top of the column.  Within each column in the drawer, you can set the following:

  • Headline: This will be the column headline.
  • Content: Specify the link color.
  • Action: this will be the link at the bottom of the column.  Refer to actions for more information.
