Image Video Social Media Rich Media

  1. In the Embed Type dropdown, select ‘Image’.
  2. Image: Select an image path from the DAM or select Upload New to upload a new image.  Add Alt Text for screen readers and search crawlers.

 

  1. Embed Type: dropdown, select ‘Video’.
  2. Media Type: Select the media provider from the dropdown.

  4. Enable Image Placeholder: If selected, you can select an image path in the DAM for a placeholder image that the viewer will click prior to playing the video.
    Image Placeholder Options: This section displays only when ‘Enable Image Placeholder’ is checked.
  5. Image: Select an image path from the DAM or select Upload New to upload a new image.  
    Alt Text: Add Alt Text for screen readers and search crawlers.
    Tooltip: Tooltip text that appears when user is hovered over video.  Defaults to ‘Play video’ if left blank.
  6. Accessibility Tooltip: The tooltip text that is spoken by screenreaders when focused on the video. If left blank, this will default to 'Click to play video'.
    Hide Play Button: Select to hide the play button from being overlaid on top of your placeholder image.
  7. Background Tab: When Image Placeholder is enabled a “Background” tab is visible in the window in which you can select the foreground/background contrast options.

  2. Social Media type: From the dropdown, select the social media service to embed (Instagram, Twitter, Flickr).
  3. Embedded social media URL: Enter the embed URL here.
