Learn moreBackground (banner) images require exact dimensions of the component, as they are not supported everywhere leading to a 520x250px image that has some extra spacing around it.
Banner images are designed to stretch (full bleed) the entire width of all banner components.
NOTE: When using the left-aligned and right-aligned banner layouts, you must ensure that your banner meets the accessibility standards.
Thumbnail (body) images are set to a 2:3 ratio on desktop and mobile so they don’t get too large on the mobile rendering of the responsive html.
NOTE: Thumbnail images are placed in a <td> of either 194px | 150px. However, you can set the image to a max. of 520px to guarantee a higher resolution display on all devices.
The ArtDeco illustration style is simple, modern and intuitive. All illustrations should be paired with content, and reinforce the primary message.
Illustrations should be constructed using the 56dp grid which has been developed to facilitate consistency and establish a clear set of rules for the positioning of graphic elements.
To achieve brand consistency, all new icons need to be submitted to Art Deco (artdeco@linkedin.com) and approved before use.
Rectangular buttons are used to show users the most important action to take. Only one blue primary button should be used per email. When multiple buttons are used at once, the primary button is always on the right.
